Webinar on Clinical Experience and Case Studies in Esophageal Motility Testing
Dr. Rena Yadlapati is the Medical Director of the Center for Esophageal Diseases and Motility at the University of California, San Diego Health and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the UCSD School of Medicine.
Dr. Yadlapati completed her residency at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and went on to complete her GI fellowship as well as a clinical and research fellowship in esophageal physiology at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She also holds a Master of Science in health services and outcomes research from Northwestern.
Dr. Yadlapati is a co-author of national guidelines for achalasia and esophageal physiologic testing and serves on the board of directors of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Institute as well as the American Foregut Society and is an editorial board member of Gastroenterology. She is an active clinical researcher with grant support from the NIH and ACG, and has published over 70 articles in peer-reviewed publications, including multiple national consensus initiatives in GERD, Barrett's esophagus, and esophageal motility.
